Cost of using music and permission

We would like to use music in our commercial but do not know where to look or what costs this would incur. Is there anywhere we might find this information?
You would need the consent of the copyright owner, (or his/her licensing agents), and you should expect to pay a fee or royalties for the use.
You need to speak to are the company that currently, (or most recently), publishes the work, as they will certain know who you need to contact to arrange permission.
