I have produced (drawn) a series of images, which are all my own work. These include some portraits of famous people / film characters can I sell the artwork without infringing copyright.

Do people own the right to their image or is it the file character that holds the copyright?

Thanks for any help.

You would not be infringing copyright by selling these works - as they are your drawings (you created them) you will be the copyright owner.

A person does have some rights to their own image - but generally speaking, action would only be likely if the images defame or malign the person.
