Use of Copyrighted Video

Hi,

I'm starting a DVD business, filming of events...however I wish to use clips of copyrighted films in it.

I have a license from MCPS to use published music, I am wondering if this is a similar type of product available for films?

If not how would I go about legally using them?

I suspect that you may need to speak to the film publishers directly.

It may be worth talking to FilmBank, I know they provide performance licensing, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.
