Thank you for this valuable forum.
I'm a member of a game -developer group and we're developing a Tetris - like game. We do really care about the copyright issues so we have even not used any 'Tetris' wording in our game.
However, I'm wondering if the original music of Tetris game is copyrighted or not. I've searched a lot, wrote to Tetris company itself but got no response.
May you have any idea about this issue, or show me a way to keep searching on?
Thanks so much.

It is almost certainly subject to copyright..
For musical works, Copyright will exist for the life of the author (composer) plus 70 years (that's UK law - similar periods will apply elsewhere in the world). So unless the original game used an old piece of music (i.e. a classical piece) copyright will still exist.
