Copyright Aid

Hello. I'd like to use a couplet or a few lines from a song in my artwork sometimes. Does this breach copyright law? By the nature of the work that I do, it wouldn't sit well to credit the artist concerned every time. Does this make a difference? These would mostly be one off pieces and certainly ...
